Co-operate, Co-op's online community centre

Co-operate is an online community centre founded by Co-op. It’s a place where people can discover what is happening in their local area. From meeting new people, learning new skills and volunteering in the community, the Co-operate platform presents events and activities in towns and cities across England, Scotland and Wales. It is now expanding to offer advice and support for people in the community with a particular focus on health and wellbeing.

Lauren worked as editorial lead on a bereavement support project for Co-operate. Co-op commissioned The River Group to produce a series of five videos and an advice guide for supporting those dealing with grief. Lauren scripted the videos and worked with a video editor and creative director to produce the series. She collaborated with Co-op to produce downloadable PDF ‘Supporting yourself and others with grief’ ensuring the guide was informative, accessible and appropriately covered the topic of bereavement.
