Luxury parenting website My Baba provides a daily dose of parenting and pregnancy advice. It’s also teeming with lifestyle content including fashion, travel, restaurants, crafts and family fun. Created by Leonora Bamford in 2012 as a way to collect advice and share recommendations of her own parenting journey, the website has since grown into one of the UK’s leading parenting and lifestyle publishers.

Lauren started at My Baba in the role of Editorial Assistant and graduated to Assistant Editor. Her role began with a focus on fashion and beauty content, in addition to taking the reins of the social media channels. With an experienced background in Photoshop and Indesign, Lauren started producing graphics for the website, including a digital magazine that evolved into a limited-edition print version. She carved out a family-friendly restaurants section on the website, putting together a collection of the most suitable restaurants in London for parents and children. On a weekly basis, Lauren edited the Weekly Scoop newsletter, as well as website content from fellow team members and freelance writers. The rest of her time was filled with negotiating brand collaborations, optimising content for search, interviewing celebrities and producing the My Baba podcast, Parental Control.
